What reviewers do
- check that each guide agrees with the sources it lists;
- check that safety information, warnings and advice on when to see a doctor are clear and correct;
- check that the guide gives no dosing instructions and recommends no brand;
- ask for corrections before a guide is marked as reviewed.
Pages reviewed by a panel member show the reviewer’s name and the date of review.
Independence
Reviewers must tell us about any financial links with pharmaceutical or medical device companies, and do not review pages about those companies’ products. Advertisers and sponsors have no say in what reviewers approve. See our Editorial Policy and Advertising Policy.
